3 Changes Your Significant Other Should Have a Say In

A lot of people will get the urge to try something new with their hair or buy a certain outfit to shake things up. However, that new haircut and that new dress may not be thumbs up for your significant other.

1. Hair

When thinking about changing up your hair, you should ask your significant other their opinion on your change. If you want to shave your head bald to the bone, ask your girlfriend. If you want to go from hair cascading down your back, to a bright orange Mohawk, check in with your boyfriend. Yes, it is ultimately your decision on how you wear your hair, but you also don’t want to go from a turn on to a turn off.

2. Wardrobe

Your boyfriend is used to seeing you in jeans with flats, a t-shirts and a cardigan. Then all of a sudden you decide to start wearing crop tops, booty shorts and freakum dresses. He may like the change, but would probably only enjoy it for his personal entertainment behind closed doors. One day your boyfriend is wearing sweaters and khakis, and the next day he decides to wear women skinny jeans and flip flops. You are not going to go for that. If anything you will probably be asking “What happened?”

3. Nails

This may sound weird, but there are a few men out there who would like to have a slight say in your nails. Not so much where you go to get them done but more so what color polishes you wear. He may not be a huge fan of the neon yellow and green pointy clawed acrylics you have on your fingers. He may be a French manicure with a squared finish kind of person.
