Beyoncé can never receive enough love. You can just add another title Beyoncé’s already lengthy list: wife, mother, feminist, singer, diva and philanthropist. Beyoncé has been known to give to charity privately and anonymously; however, her recent philanthropic endeavor has caught the media’s attention.
Beyoncé has chosen six cities along the East Coast to donate school supplies too for the upcoming school year this fall. Her charity #BeyGOOD are going to be handing out stationary supplies to schools that are underfunded in cities like Baltimore, New York City, Charlotte, Washington D.C. and Newark. The supplies include folders, notebooks, other school essentials and a special edition backpack that was made from her collaboration with State Bags.
Scot Tatelman, co-founder of State Bags, has released a statement,
“Partnering with Beyonce’s #BeyGOOD movement not only creates a platform for children to receive backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming year, but also drives them to reach their full potential.”
