Canadian actor Rick Ducommun, best known for his work in films like Groundhog Day, Scary Movie, Last Action Hero and The Burbs, has passed away Wednesday, June 17. The comedian and actor was 58 years old.
Ducommun was good friends with The Burbs director Joe Dante. Dante made the announcement of his friend’s death on his Twitter account.
So far, the circumstances surrounding his death seem to be unclear. Dante posted a picture of his friend on his Twitter account saying,

Musician Ryan Adams posted a tweet saying,

Ducommun also played a supporting role in the film Die Hard alongside Bruce Willis. He passed away on Wednesday and is survived by his wife Lauren and his brother Peter Ducommun.
