High Knees or Knee High Boots?

During the winter months, boots become a staple in every woman’s wardrobe. Whether it’s rain boots, snow boots, riding boots or lace-up boots, boots in general are seen on the feet of almost every woman you pass on the street. There is one type of boot, however, that has become associated with the image of high fashion and style. You guessed it (or maybe you didn’t); knee high boots are all the rage this year, and for good reason.

These stylish Joie Flat Over The Knee Boots rise up past the knee, elongating your legs. Wear these boots with dark wash skinny jeans and your favorite Free People sweater for a casual lunch date. Or go preppy and pair these riding-esque boots with a plain long sleeved t-shirt, a J. Crew vest (navy all the way) and black leggings. Strut your stuff to work in these brown boots on casual Friday, or wear them out for a casual dinner and drinks on a Saturday night. Check out different brands and colors (black is extremely popular), and pair them with almost anything.

While these boots look best paired with simple sweaters and jeans, couple black over the knee boots with destroyed jeans and a graphic tee for a more hipster look. You can dress them up, or down, it’s completely up to you, but with these on your feet you’ll be set all winter long.
