James Corden: The New Face of Burberry?
Sadly, the truth is no, James Corden will not be the new face of Burberry. However, Corden did close the Burberry show in Los Angeles last week. Days before the fashion show he had Naomi Campbell on his show, and he asked for advice on how to walk down the runway. They walked arm in arm and Corden rocked a blue steel-esque face.
While backstage at the Burberry show with Naomi Campbell, he brought his viewers along with him. While all the models were getting ready Corden was his usually hilarious self: He was asking for spanks and telling everyone that they were “killing it.” He also joked that it must be embarrassing for the Queen’s Horse Guards to all have the same outfit on.
Right before he was about to walk he had a diva moment, asking people to get him a danish. When he started his strut he was fierce as he walked down the runway; like he had been doing it his whole life. He even had the courage to touch Anna Wintour’s hand.
Corden may not be leaving his show to become a Burberry model, but he should do more runway. He’s charismatic enough to have no problem strutting his stuff on the catwalk. Until that new career path becomes more solid, Corden will have to keep cracking people up on his talk show.
