Laura Reid is a 21 year-old Canadian girl who has a YouTube Channel where she share fashion and lifestyle ideas. She started her YouTube channel “The Fashion Files”, in June of 2013 with the goal to have a fashion portfolio. With a desire to work in the fashion industry, she saw this platform as a great opportunity to share her experience and knowledge. With the help of her boyfriend and sister, she shares videos for the world to view.
She haven’t met her followers personally, but she thinks it would be a little bit awkward though rewarding. Currently she is doing “Vlogmas” which is a vlog post every day until Christmas.
About ‘vlogmas’ Laura stated “people enjoy it! They like seeing a glimpse into your life.”  She enjoys sharing with her followers about her life so they can get to know her on a personal level. She claims that she is “pretty similar in real life as she is online”.
About her YouTube journey she said: “It has been an amazing ride with YouTube so far and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!”
What motivates you?
“Having people watch my videos and continue watching really motivated me to keep going. At times it can be tough especially if you don’t get the results you are looking for but you just have to keep going through those times and eventually your hard work will pay off”
