The standards for maid of honors (and sisters) everywhere just got a whole lot higher. A touching and or funny maid of honor speech could really add to a wedding party. Jennifer Gabrielli gave a surprise maid of honor speech at her sisters summer 2013 wedding. However, this was no ordinary speech, as Gabrielli prepared what she calls a ‘musical snack.’ The awesome sister rewrote Eminem’s ‘Without Me’ to perform her toast.
Although I do not plan on getting married anytime soon, it made me think about the friends that I have right now. Would my friends, or my sister be willing to risk making a fool of themselves at my wedding to rap about our friendship? If not, I would need to make some new, cooler friends.
Luckily, I came to the conclusion that I have many friends who are not ashamed to embarrass themselves, or sing in public. I made sure to show them all this video so they can perfect their parody skills in time for my big day.
