Robert Downey Jr. Walks out of an Interview

During an interview with UK’s Channel 4 news, Robert Downey Jr., stormed off feeling uncomfortable.

The Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron star was interviewed by Krishnan Guru-Murphy who asked some hard hitting questions about Downey’s past.

Krishnan questioned the actors political beliefs after his departure from prison and asked him about a quote he gave to New York Times about it.

She comments, “You can’t go from a $2,000-a-night suite at La Mirage to a penitentiary and really understand it and come out a liberal.”

Robert answers respectfully saying that he gave the quote years ago and can not speak about something that happened that long ago.

“I couldn’t even tell you what a liberal is, so therein lies the answer to your question,” he follows after his explanation.

Robert then gives Krishnan a question, “Are we promoting a movie?”

This stirred up more conflict between the two and Krishnan added more hard hitting questions.

Robert finishes the political debates with not identifying with any party saying he is not republican, a democrat nor a liberal.

Krishnan continues to ruffle some feathers by asking him about his father and Downey’s “dark period.”

This was the last straw for Robert as he got up and left.

Krishnan is known for stirring up stars during interviews.

During his interview with Quentin Tarantino for the movie Django Untamed Krishnan again asked some personal questions that made the actor uncomfortable as well.

I love it when celebrities walk out on interviewers when feel disrespected. The interviewer got what he called for.
