Sometimes in the fashion design industry, adding a little something extra to clothes or designs can take an ordinary connection and prevail it to the next level. Stella McCartney decided to add some fun to her latest fashion show by having her models do a little-choreographed dance number down the runway to end her incredible show in Paris. The models showed off their astonishing moves wearing McCartney’s signature styles of neutral tones with the crazy and fun splashes of color. This British designer released her knew collection, and love for dance, at the autumn/winter 2017-2018 fashion show at Paris Fashion Week. She is known for her mix of sporty and chic looks, and now after this, for her innovative way of showing off her clothes. The collection had pieces that gave off a more relaxed and effortless vibe, so adding a little dance and music to end the show aloud her to add a little more excitement for all the audience that was in the room.
Many top celebrities and top people in the fashion industry were front row to witness this amazing show with their own eyes and were able to watch has McCartney revealed this remarkable new collection. Stella is an advocate for vegetarianism and expresses how she does not use any real leather or fur in any of her garments. Instead of using the real deal, she chooses to use fake leather, suede, velvet, denim, and other non-animal harming materials. Her collection portrayed a wide variety of pieces going from active and oversized attire to more elegant and composed garments.
She is able to brand her line so well from being one of the most active brands on Instagram. Right now she has almost 4 million followers on the site and shows of her pieces on thereto new and old buyers alike. Being on social media and able to interact with the media has really helped her in moving forward as a designer, and show people all the new things she is doing as a designer. Social media has given her a way to allow her to get her collection out to the public faster.
Being such a social media butterfly could have been said to have helped with this decision of adding the dance piece to the end of her show. She knows how to work the media and bring positive notion towards her clothes and new by adding something to get people buzzing about her. After the show was over, there was already videos out there of the models performing and talk over the social sites of just how incredible and fun this show was to watch.
Most everyone knows models are known for their viscously amazing walk and not so much for their dance moves.
