The Knicks Take Another Unexpected Lost
New York Knicks fans along with Carmelo Anthony was shocked as they lost for the 9th time in 10 games.
As 76ers fans celebrated their win 98-97 at the buzzer Anthony had scored 28 points but it wasn’t enough. T.J. McConnell ended up getting the buzzer winner for the 76ers. Knicks blew a 10-point lead in the final with 2:29 left on the clock.
“Very, very disappointing,” said a dejected Anthony after the latest loss. “… I don’t even know what to say about this one,” he told ESPN.
Although, Rose scored 25 points in the fourth and Anthony ended up missing a three with the 1:03 on the clock. The Knicks had a three-point lead with 34.5 seconds left McConnel end u getting the winning shot.
“There was so much going on. I don’t want to give you an answer that is wrong,” Anthony said when asked about the final sequence. “I can’t recall. I have to go back and look at it” he said to ESPN.
The Knicks would need to start playing better real soon or everything could go bad for the team.
“I’ve seen it for the past couple of years,” Anthony later added of his concern. “But I still don’t want to say [I’m] frustrated. It’s not worrisome. I’ve seen it before. I’ve seen this happen before. I’ve seen it go downhill quickly. I don’t think this is the situation. But we have to turn this thing around quickly,” he said to, ESPN.
