Baking Soda isn’t just that orange box that sits in the back of your closet you rarely use. Yes, you can cook with it, but it as several other uses.
1. It can brighten you smile with 3% peroxide hydrogen. Simply use it as toothpaste and your smile will be brighter in no time. Plus baking soda is cheaper than toothpaste. BONUS!

2.  You can also use it as a face scrub. 3 parts baking soda and 1 part water. Scrub, scrub, scrub.
3. Can’t stand the way bug spray smells or feels on your skin? Add water and baking soda, some eucalyptus oil and rub it all over. Those bugs won’t be a other much longer.
4. It even works in the shower! Sprinkle some baking soda into your hair while you’re using your shampoo and it will rinse out the leftovers.
5. No one is a fan of doing the dishes, like seriously, no one. So make it a little easier and put to spoon full’s of baking soda into the water or soap and get the grease off without so much hassle.
6. You can even use baking soda as a cleaner in the bathroom. Sprinkle some into your tub or sink, add some vinegar and scrub when you see the bubbles. It will give your bathroom a deep cleaning and get rid of germs.
7. Yup, laundry too. Add a 1/2 cup of baking soda to your load and this will give your detergent a boost, as well as balance the ph levels of the water.
8. Got any odors, pets, kids, husbands? Stick an open box of baking soda in the pantry, closet, play room (where it can’t be reached, no one wants to clean that up) and those odors will vanish.
9. If your rug smells like your cat or dog, (we love them but seriously, we all know they stink) sprinkle some baking soda o the rug and let it sit for awhile, then hit it with the vacuum and the smell will be gone.
10. Yup, it also works with food. Sprinkle some on your fruits and vegetables to make sure they are really clean enough to eat.
