15 Bloggers Line Up as L’Oréal Paris’ New ‘League’ of Ambassadors

You better check who you’re following on Instagram right now. L’Oréal Paris has just announced a roster of 15 bloggers to its brand ambassador team.

They call it the ‘L’Oréal League.’ And it sounds alliteratively exclusive. We want in. The Inst-specialist, bloggers and YouTube stars will embark on a yearlong journey with L’Oréal Paris as they create unique content to promote the brand across all forms of social media.

An added bonus. The social media sensations will attend award shows, walk the red carpet, partake in master classes and even preview the new product launches.

Kristen Comings, the vice president of integrated consumer communications at L’Oréal Paris, tells WWD, “It’s not a campaign, it’s more of a partnership. Campaign sounds like a product launch.”

We’re here to show you the 15 recruits L’Oréal Paris plans to foster this ‘partnership’ with over the course of their yearlong tenure.

With no required content count. No non-compete clause. L’Oréal appears to be giving these artists a freedom to choose when, how and how many posts they wish to contribute to the not-campaign.

Pari Ehsan of Paridust is known for her ability to mesh the realms of art and fashion quite seamlessly. Planning to utilize L’Oréal’s Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quads in Avant Garde Azure and Violet Amour, Ehsan reveals her plan to WWD, “I’m going to call it Stardust and play with this painterly effect where you create a gradient across the eye or lip, an ombré type thing.”

As the artist plots her next Instagram post, scheduled to hit your feeds later this week, Ehsan will use L’Oréal Infallible Lacquer Eyeliner in Dark Slate as a matte lipstick. We were slightly confused too, don’t worry. Ehsan remarks, “There is no recipe to beauty, it is personal and fluid. I hope to inspire others to experiment and to use products in new and unexpected ways, to see past concealing and conforming and be empowered to let your true self come through.”

Ehsan and her innovative work thus far are but a glimpse of the talented ‘L’Oréal League.’ So, apply yourself and carve out a few minutes to peek the foundation of L’Oréal Paris’ eye-opening partnership. You will begin to see an influx of these bloggers’ posts beginning in July with the sale of L’Oréal Paris’ Pure Clay Mask, only $12.99.
