Face it, you have been telling yourself you are going to get up and head to the gym for the last two hours and have yet to move. You are feeling totally unmotivated and the urge to sit there and eat donuts and watch Netflix is surpassing the urge to head to the gym. This is a time when you should really have a partner and here is why.
1.Keep you motivated
Having a partner really comes in handy when you are having an unmotivating gym day. They will be that person on your shoulder telling you to get your behind up and head to the elliptical bike.
2. Pushes you
Just when you think you cannot do anymore planks or chin-ups, your partner will be right by yourself pushing you to not only do one more, but twenty more. Sure they may get on your nerves in the process, but once your abs start to come in or your legs begin to tone up, you will be thankful.
3. You don’t have feel alone
Depending on where you go for the gym, there may be the lurkers who are paying more attention to your lady lumps than they are paying to their workout. To avoid an awkwardness, having your friend or partner there will ease the feeling.
