It is certain that as soon as January 1st hit, the wheels started spinning as to what you and your loved one will do on Valentine’s Day. For some, it is the most dreaded holiday of the year, for others it is like their birthday all over again. With February 14th creeping around the corner, it is hopeful that there is at least an idea of what you want to do or for with your partner. If you are still at a loss as to what to do, then maybe these ideas will help.
1. Whatever you do, do not simply get the clichéd flowers, chocolate and teddy bear. That is what you got her the first three years of dating. This year switch it up and try something different. Surprise her with the shoes she kept eyeing in the mall the other day or maybe a sentimental piece of jewelry.

2. She has been begging you to go to the new steakhouse downtown but the occasion has never presented itself to indulge. Well, what a perfect occasion like Valentine’s Day to make a reservation and head on to the steakhouse. Or maybe you want to show off your culinary skills and plan a nice and thoughtful candlelit dinner at home. Either way, you can NEVER go wrong with dinner.

3. You know that she has been bombarded with work and or school and the time to herself is minimal, so arranging a nice little getaway at the spa will definitely ease her tension. Have her get her nails and feet tended to and maybe throw a little massage in there. If you are really feeling romantic, light the candles and give the massage yourself.
