One of the most important groups of people in your significant other’s life is their friends. Meeting their friends can be as nerve-wracking as meeting their parents, but taking a breath and following through with these steps may aid you in winning them over.
1. Do not try too hard
For the most part, their friends can detect bullcrap from a mile away. They will notice when you are way over your head and trying too hard to impress them. It’s okay to not be into the same things they are into or not find their jokes funny. Just do not try so hard that you put yourself outside of your comfort zone. It does no one any good.
