How To Avoid Greasy, Grimy Hair – Number 2 Is Shockingly Surprising!

Having greasy hair is one of the most frustrating aspects of beauty. It’s unappealing and unattractive, but most importantly, it’s preventable. Many people fight the oily locks on a daily basis but remain discouragingly unsuccessful. Well, there’s no need for frustration any longer. With these tricks, greasy hair doesn’t stand a chance.

 1. Don’t Touch It!

Those locks are beautiful, yes, but they won’t stay that way if those oily fingers are constantly running through them. Think about how much dirt and grime is accumulated on one’s hands throughout the day. Now think about all of that plus the body’s natural oil all touching that freshly shampooed hair. No wonder the grease takes over in no time!

2. Don’t Wash It Too Often

It sounds counterproductive, but it’s not. Washing the hair everyday actually rids the body of needed oils. One must train his or her hair to go without a daily shampoo. Only condition for one week, and after one week is over, wash the hair only two to three times per week. Giving the body time to replenish the natural oils will prevent it from producing excess, unneeded oil.

3. Don’t Use The Same Shampoo

Buying the giant bottles of shampoo may save a few bucks, but it’s actually working against the hair. Switching up the shampoo every week will prevent product build-up and give the hair fresh exposure.

4. Don’t Go To Bed With Wet Hair

This one is for those who only take nighttime showers. Doing so may create a few extra minutes of sleep in the morning, but nine times out of 10, that hair will be looking greasy as ever. Sleeping on wet hair makes it flat and oily in the morning – definitely not ideal.

5. Don’t Sleep With A Dirty Pillow Case

Wash that pillowcase! The dirt and oil from the face will rub off onto the pillowcase and into the hair. It just takes a few seconds – don’t let the grease win.
