Braids are a classic hair trend that is simple that we have seen on many runways this season. Between french braids, fishtail, waterfall, braided crowns, there are so many different ways to incorporate braids into any length hairstyle. Have fun and don’t stress it! If a hairstyle doesn’t look how you want to after the first try, try again!

1.- Mermaid curls Not only is it a good look for an evening look or a special occasion, but can also dress up a casual outfit. Mermaid curls are fairly easy to do and can be pulled into several different looks. Pull your hair into a half-up half down and clip the top half onto the top of your head. Take your clamp-less curling wand, and start wrapping small sections around the wand. The look of your curls will depend on how tight you wrap each strand around the iron. After you’ve finished the bottom half, take the top half out of the clip and repeat. Spray each curl with hairspray, then shake them out for looser waves. Finally, you can decide to leave the curls loose, pull the curls into a low bun, or a loose braid, or bobby pin them to one side of your head for a vintage elegant look.

2. French Braid- This classic style would fair well on casual Friday- jeans, riding boots, and a cardigan. Lean your head back and grab a small piece of hair in the middle of your hair, braid normally adding a small section from each side as you go. French braiding is much easier than people make it seem!
