Curtis Jackson, also known as musician 50 Cent and beloved film producer, has made new negotiations with Starz network to create a superhero drama series. The new series “Tomorrow, Today” came with his deal to stay with the network for another year to help develop more television shows with his production company G-Unit Film & Television Inc. “Tomorrow, Today” is based off of an original script by Jackson and is one of his first developing project in G Unit Film & Television production company. Not only will Jackson will be an executive producer for “Tomorrow Today”, but he is also the producer for hit Starz series Power.
50 Cent has commented that he is excited to work with his Starz family again to create another drama series. He says because of the unexpected success with Power, he is confident about all his future projects with the network. He also states that “ Tomorrow, Today” is going to be a perfect fit with Starz programing and can’t wait to get the production team going. Jackson also admitted that his superhero project was a personal achievement for him to have his creation made into a series. Curtis Jackson concluded his statement saying that he will continue to be involved in every step of the “Tomorrow, Today” production until he sees the series air on Starz.
“Tomorrow, Today” is a superhero television series about a male veteran from Chicago who after being falsely accused of a terrible crime, is turned into a superhuman solider by an insane prison doctor. Afterwards, he has to learn to deal with the world that has shunned him due to his abilities and learn to help others out of the goodness of his heart.
The executive producer will be Anthony Cipriano, who previously helped produced A&E show Bates Motel. Other producers like Kirkland Morris and Dan Kay will be joining the project. All three producers will be involving in writing scripts for the superhero drama “Tomorrow, Today”.
