An armed suspect managed to sneak onto Foster Farms Property in Fresno, California. The man or woman is accused of slaughtering 920 chickens the night of September 20th. Making a swift exit, the chicken-predator has yet to be found or identified. The city is asking its citizens for help by offering a 5,ooo dollar reward for turning in the killer. The suspect, apparently used a baseball bat and another “blunt” object to finish the job. Maybe it was an inside job? Or two persons working together? So far, reportedly no authorities, have asked or answered any of these questions. But Foster Farms, did released a statement saying;
“It is the express policy of Foster Farms to treat their birds humanly and with compassion.”
Deputy, Chris Curtis states, “Whoever committed this act is sick, people should be alarmed by something like this.”
Just when you think it can’t get any more ironic he goes onto say “When someone can cause this much damage to animals, they need to be taken off the streets.” Describing this as “psychopathic behavior.”
