Every group of friends consists of people who contribute various aspects. In each of these groups there is the control freak. There is always that one friend who likes things done a certain way and may not necessarily always be content if things do not go as planned. This person is also usually the organizer of the bunch. Since this is speaking of a group of people, there are several personalities, tastes, money availability and time schedules to take into consideration. Not to misconstrue anything, every group needs someone that is able to coordinate get-togethers, which is definitely not an easy task once everyone has their own responsibilities. Nonetheless, the organizer usually retains the title of the control freak, because they are at the helm of everything. Note some of these signs and see if you or which of your friends is the control freak; maybe they deserve to be cut a bit of slack every now and then.

1.You are always the one suggesting a day or night out.
Your excitement for an outing is practically infectious; that or you have times when you have hardly anything to do and need something fun, and of course, you want to see your friends.

2. You usually start the group messages.
Someone has to initiate the conversations that will likely not get anywhere at first. Also, there will be that one person that always takes forever to respond.

3. Always the one calling to make reservations.
You just will not trust someone else in the group to remember that the reservation has to be made -the popular brunch spot requires one and you don’t want to miss out.

4. Your credit card is usually the one at stake.
Since you are the one making everything happen and putting things together, your credit card is often used. This is especially necessary when purchasing concert and flight tickets or reserving a hotel room -plus, you know how best to collect the money since you’ve done it plenty of times before.

5. You have the final say on the place.
The perks of being at the helm is that you are the one who decides for your friends who do not care wherever you guys go or what you do.

6. You designate the meeting time.
After everyone has given time suggestions for what works, you are glad the ultimate decision usually falls on you.

7. You politely put down others ideas -with good reason of course.
Some people just do not realize what is best for everyone. Food and drinks, for example, are important to any girls’ night and should be brainstormed and researched, and some just do not do enough of it.

8. You have the best and most worthwhile ideas.
The fantastic ideas that come into your mind are always a good time, so why break the streak? You find the best yoga spots, clubs, hotels, etc. Hence your suggestions have proven to work and should be considered most.
