Hats have been around for as long as, if not longer than, people have been having bad hair days. Here are some hats that are at a great priced as well as on trend.
1) Bowler Hats:
In England 1849, regular top hats were unable to justly protect riders heads from low hanging branches and possible injuries, thus the bowler hat was invented. It was adapted in America because of its practically and snug fit that was able to withstand harsh winds. Now however, this hat is used more for making fashion statements, as seen in Alexandre Herchcovitch’s spring 2013 line where models donned oversized bowler hats, than for protection. These hat’s from Nasty Gal and Forever21 will allow you to achieve the over gist of the trend without breaking the bank:

3) Fascinator Hats:
The Fascinator has a long history spanning even before the nineteenth century, when women of nobility or wealth wore ornate embellishments atop their heads. Far more subdued, this classy hat is more likely to be worn on the runway or to special events like weddings or polo matches. Modcloth is an online store boasting a wide range of vintage, novelty, or just interesting clothing and accessories. Theses fascinators exude character and have an elegant look about them.

4) Fedoras:
For a while, Fedoras were the “it” hat. They could be seen perched on the heads of everyone from famous singers to brooding hipsters. Then suddenly, they fell of the radar. Luckily, there has been a recent spike in fedora enthusiasts and the hat was even incorporated into St. Laurent’s fall 2014 runway. Here are two fedoras that stand out in both color and design.
