1. Tupac Shakr
The rapper, songwriter, and actor from East Harlem got in a fight with an alleged Crips gang member while at the Bruce Seldon vs Mike Tyson boxing match. After, while standing up through the sunroof on his way to Club 662, he was shot multiple times from a white Cadillac on his right. Tupac was rushed to the hospital were he was put under a medically induced coma, but he was pronounced dead six days later, September 13 1996, at 4:03 pm from internal bleeding due to gunshot wounds. It is assumed his death was the result of the fight he had earlier that night with a Southside Crip, but no one was ever charged. Some believe Tupac isn’t really dead due to a lack of hospital or morgue photos and some lyrics on albums released after his death such as “Real, live, black ghosts…It’s time to be a ghost.”

2. Biggie Smalls/ Notorious B.I.G
We can’t talk about Tupac without mentioning Biggie Smalls. Born Christopher Wallace, the Brooklyn hip-hop rapper was leaving the 1997 Soul Train Music Awards after party and was shot four times by a drive-by shooter —the last bullet being fatal. He was rushed to the hospital where a emergency thoracotomy was performed, but Biggie Smalls was pronounced dead at 1:15 am March 9 1997. His murder is still unsolved and is guessed to be the result of the West Coast-East Coast hip hop rivalry.
