Aaron Rodgers Speaks Out About Little Brother Jordan on ‘The Bachelorette’

It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for, Bachelorette fans!

Not, it’s not the final rose. And no! Chad never actually ‘took someone outside,’ no matter how many times he said it. The time has finally come: famed footballer Aaron Rodgers speaks out about little brother Jordan’s romantic airtime.

Earlier this season, Jordan opened up to JoJo about his 2-year-and-counting estrangement from his brother Aaron. During JoJo’s hometown visit with Jordan, he was vague and slightly defensive of the topic as he told JoJo he and his brother’s relationship “don’t need to be a topic.”

Currently swooning. As if Jordan needed to be any more mysterious and unavailable. As we drooled for information, we watched intently as JoJo met Jordan’s oldest brother, Luke, who also skirted the bachelorette’s many attempts at unveiling the hush-hush issue.

In true altar boy fashion, Luke melted our hearts when he said, “It’s something we don’t really like to talk about a lot. It pains both of us not to have that relationship. We miss our brother. We just are trusting that God brings things full circle. And just wish that everything would just get back to us being a family.”

Ugh, us too, Luke. We’re all thinking it – a ‘hometown’ trip featuring some NFL box seats would have made family time a bit more exciting. But alas, the drama and suspense will do.

Now, if you’re expecting Aaron to explain the annoyingly vague and utterly ominous commentary Jordan and Luke gave us on their complicated brotherly relationship, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. Aaron did admit to WISN that not only has the show not “affected [him] a whole lot.” But brother Aaron doesn’t even watch his brother compete for JoJo’s heart on ABC’s The Bachelorette.

On the topic regarding his ‘complicated’ relationship with his brothers, Aaron said, “As far as those kinds of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just — I’m not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition.”

Is it just us – or did that feel like a dig, Jordan?

Alas, the heart wants what the heart wants, even if it has to tow baggage from an estranged NFL quarterback. JoJo continues to fall head over heels for Jordan, even admitting in the ‘fantasy suite’ episode this week that she’s ‘in love’ with him.

Unfortunately, the bachelorette said the same of the other final two contestant, Robby Hayes. With ex-girlfriend troubles of his own, it appears JoJo’s heart won’t be getting out of this love story scot-free.

Make sure to tune in Monday at 8 p.m. to watch The Bachelorette finale and see which man JoJo chooses to give the final rose.
