Feel It: It is important to feel all of the emotions that come with rejection, rather than run away from it. After all, we were made to have emotions, and we must embrace the positive and the negative ones. Don’t deny any feeling that you may have, but rather embrace them, and then release them.

Acknowledging your feelings helps you allow yourself to feel: It is important that you give yourself permission to feel, because that is your ultimate right as a human being; feelings are something that people can never take away from you. Giving yourself permission is vital for releasing them, and ultimately overcoming them.
Transform your Thoughts: With rejection comes a lot of negative self talk, and it’s important to separate the fact from the fiction. Think about what you know to be true: Your personality, skills, and remember the good things about yourself. They’re not lost! Don’t magnify negativity because of rejection, but rather transform it into a positive. Consider all of the possible detriments of the situation that could have occurred, and think about all of the possible positive reasons for the situation to have occurred. Don’t dwell on the negative, just transform your way of looking at the situation.
Trust & Believe: While it may seem cheesy, you must remember that you can accomplish whatever you want to, as long as you trust yourself, believe than you can, and of course, allows Father Time to work his magic. Accept the reality of the situation, but use it as a learning experience to help you persevere. While “everything happens for a reason” is a cliche, its a cliche because of the fact that it holds true – something better will come your way.
