Alexa Chung: fashion inspiration, British model, TV host, author and now designer. All those who envy the British beauty’s wardrobe are in luck! Her next role includes designing a line for AG Jeans. The collection will include 20 pieces, which will range from traditional blue jeans, to denim dresses.
Chung told WWD, “The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late Sixties, early Seventies aesthetic.”
Although this is Chung’s first time designing, it is no surprise that creative director of AG Jeans, Sam Ku has said, “For someone who has never really worked in fashion, she has a keen sense of how to put a collection together and which pieces go together.”
That is something many have witnessed time and time again through Alexa’s stunning street style, which is what makes some fans crazy coveting her wardrobe.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until January 2015 to get their butts inside the dreamy denim pieces. Do not fret, there is a small sneak peek of the collection in the July issue of Glamour Magazine. Alexa graces the cover, modelling a white pair of dungarees from her collection.
