Angelina Jolie is the director of the film ‘Unbroken.’ She also collaborated with the Coen Brothers as they co-scripted the film. The movie is an adaptation of the book Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand, who also wrote Seabiscuit.
The book and movie are based on a true story about a man, Louis Zamperini, the former Olympian, along with two other crewmen who were stranded in a raft for 47 days after a plane crash during WWII. Unfortunately, they were captured by the Japanese Navy and sent to a war-camp as prisoners of war.
The trailer gives you a look into the life of Louis Zamperini, depicting how his life and experiences shaped him into a man that would remain unbroken despite the trials and tribulations he faced from childhood, as an Olympian, a soldier and a prisoner of war.
Also, look out for the awesome performances by Jack O’Connell, Domhnall Gleeson, Takamasa Ishihara and Garret Hedlund. ‘Unbroken’ will be released Christmas Day this year.
