Animal Print Items For This Fall

By  |  0 Comments

Animal prints are certainly nothing new. To be absolutely clear, most might figure that they’ve been floating around the trendy world for a while now, if not forever. Who can forget J Crew CEO Jenna Lyons and her now iconic quote: “As far as I’m concerned, leopard is a neutral.”

It appears now that almost every label and retailer seem to be taking that phrase to heart. It has already made an entrance of sorts with Realisation’s Par leopard slip skirt, which has been hailed as somewhat of an It item for the summer. However, many publications such as Harper’s Bazaar have forecasted that this garment is but a preview for a much larger “Great Animal Print Revival” that will be taking place this fall.

Below are some possible options for anyone looking to be part of this major phenomenon:

We’re starting this off with a classic. The obvious leopard print coat. This Jaguar Faux Fur Jacket from Bellarose is the obvious choice for those who want to implement this trend in their outerwear. (Priced at $250)

Can’t decide between wearing white or black? With this asymmetrical zebra skirt from Tufi Due, you don’t have to. (Priced at $183.04)

This Patterned Chiffon dress from H&M is another option for those who wish to emulate one of the world’s most beloved felines, albeit somewhat more uncommon than a jacket or shoes. (Priced at $29.99)

These leopard print booties from Sam Edelman are also amongst your classic animal print staples. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t finally get a pair now if you’ve previously earlier incarnations of the trend. (Priced at $160)

These Cat-Eye sunglasses from Chimi further live up to their name as they’re embellished with the stripes of a tiger. (Priced at $150)

Proud Latina Feminist. My likes include strong coffee, watching the previews that come on before the movie, and things that come in pretty packages. I've been a bibliophile and fashion lover since well before I could read or tie my own shoes.
