If Barbie could talk, what do you think she would say? Well, she can, and guess what? She’s actually a little too outspoken. Her name is Valeria Lukyanova, and she is the literal human version of the Barbie Doll. Undergoing various surgeries to emulate the famous girls’ toy (while trying to convince the public that she had ONLY gotten breast implants) you constantly have to examine the pictures closely to be sure that it’s human!
Recently, Valeria met with Michael Idov of GQ magazine, and carelessly voiced her opinions, which are quite controversial and more twisted than readers would like. Referring to herself as “Amatue”, claiming the name had been revealed to her in a dream, much like a lot of the other things she spoke about, this woman is obsessed with getting as much attention from the world as possible. Unfortunately, however, kids would probably shift the attention away from her, which probably contributes to why she has no intention of ever settling down and having a family. Despising the idea, she said, “It’s unacceptable to me. The very idea of having children brings out this deep revulsion in me… I’d rather die from torture because the worst thing in the world is to have a family lifestyle”.
Later on in the interview, Amatue shamelessly told the GQ editor-in-chief that reason the ideal of beauty has changed is “because of the race mixing”. She continued, “…Ethnicities are mixing now, so there’s degeneration”. Idov writes, reflecting on the interviews saying “I had had a simple narrative prepared in my head: A small-town girl grows up obsessed with dolls, etc. Instead, I get a racist space alien”. He certainly did.
It seems that the toy manufacturers were on to something in keeping the original toy silent; it’s evident that the childhood “dream doll” seems to be a little arrogant and downright cruel once she came to life. Too hard to believe? Check out the full interview with GQ magazine.
