One’s company, two’s a crowd, and three’s a party.
That’s going to be Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers’ new motto after the birth of their first child. The couple announced the pregnancy earlier today, and family and friends are nothing less than ecstatic.
The pregnancy seems to have come at a special time, as the lovebirds just celebrated their fourth anniversary. Sources say 27- year-old Hammer and his 31-year-old wife are proving to be the perfect future parents. They have had time to settle down in their married life, and now they are eager to see what their next chapter brings.
The couple has seemed to hit it off from the first time they met, so the baby is sure to have two devoted parents. Describing how Hammer persuaded her of marriage, Chambers said, “He sat me down and said, ‘Look, we don’t have to do this. We could just go our own ways and then one day you’ll be 40 and divorced and we’ll run into each other, and we’ll laugh and go out to dinner and have this same connection, and we’ll wonder why we wasted all that time, or we could just do it now and enjoy the ride.”
The child’s expected due day is late in the year, but with the couple’s busy schedules, the time is sure to come sooner than it feels. Hammer’s next gig is “The Man From U.N.C.L.E,” which will keep him and Chambers busy as they help run the family’s Bird Bakery in Texas. For now, though, the couple is relaxing in the spotlight as the good news spreads on this Monday afternoon.
