MTV’s hit TV Show “Awkward” has come to the end of its fourth mid-season. Unlike any other episodes within this season, the summer finale showed some disclosure amongst characters.
This episode focused on the storyline of Eva, who lied about her identity to the entire school. The episode starts with the departure of the seniors, who are going to the mountain for a skiing trip. In the first few moments, Eva shows her true side to Sadie, which puts her in a place where Valerie chooses to leave her at the school.
Tamara and Jenna makes complaints about how they are going to spend the skiing trip without having someone special. Jenna’s boyfriend end up surprising her on the mountain. Tamara also get lucky and finds a guy to ski with. However, Eva seems to be planning some secret agenda for Jenna.
Down in shiny California, Sadie Saxton is up for revenge. She is so convinced that Eva is lying about her identity that she begins to dig into Eva’s past and finds the truth about Eva. Turns out Eva is not a rich girl who claims to be from New York. Apparently, she is a poor girl who is from San Pedro, CA. She also stabbed another kid with a pencil when she was nine, causing her to be home-schooled.
Sadie tries to reach out to Matty in order to warn him about Eva, but Eva acts quick and controls the situation. Since Sadie cannot find anyone else to help Matty, she desperately calls Jenna. When Jenna tries to save Matty from psycho liar Eva, she puts her relationship in jeopardy.
Luke leaves with an accusation that Jenna might have unfinished business with her ex-boyfriend.
Jenna and Sadie team up to unveil the truth about Eva. However, they end up failing. Eva saw them coming and claims to be pregnant, which neither Jenna nor Sadie believes that.
Mid-season finale drops the bomb that leaves both Jenna and Sadie stunned. When Jenna tries get control of the situation with Luke, she gets dumped by him on the phone. Eva appears to actually be pregnant, which shocks Sadie. After Eva shows the result of her pregnancy, the episode closes, forcing viewers to wait for the return of “Awkward.” in Fall.
