New York designer, Scott Sternberg, decided to pull out from NYFW by canceling his Band of Outsiders show.
The decision might not be a surprise to many, for Sternberg launched a stinging attack last year on the fashion industry, claiming it revolves around the “Dog and pony show.” Sternberg didn’t stop there, at one point he praised Tom Ford for his decision to remove his label from the catwalk, but later criticized him for returning.
WWD reports that the decision for the canceling of the show is more logical and it is because on September 7th, the day of the show, Sternberg’s first Manhattan flagship is set to open.
The brand is known for its unisex feel and will definitely have a firm stand this season since it is all about unisex.
