French designer Barbara Bui’s 2014 resort collection is a striking set that any woman that seeks to turn heads would love. She set out 22 looks in total that radiate power and respect. Bui splashed a beautiful parrot across everything from a leather sweatshirt to the interior of a jacket. You’re certainly not short of self-esteem if you wear this number, but it looks great nonetheless.
My personal favorite, a skirt suit with a blue python pattern down both sides with sleeves of the same material, will undoubtedly draw positive attention in any setting. Bui adorned a black suit featured with a sharp-shoulder edge while the gray version has a professional double-collar button up.
Equally appealing is a mostly-white collared top with that same parrot across the right breast, paired with soft, flowing, black-lined pants, think Bui meets Bruce Lee on this one.
One has to appreciate the emotional impact the pieces in this set have. It’s powerful, elegant and sexy at the same time. Bui’s aggressive yet sensual collection has pieces that can kick tail in a boardroom or along Miami Beach.
