For Max Azria’s Resort 2015 Collection, it is evident that the inspiration came from the recently anointed Honorary Cultural Ambassador of Tunisia. The town itself offered a ton of inspiration from printed fabrics to lush tunics, which became a huge, recurring piece in the collection. Heavily embroidered fabrics, simple embellishments, slim dresses, and printed silks were major marks of the collection, creating a modern, but small town, exotic feel to each of the pieces.

The most intriguing pieces include a tunic made of very thick fabric, with a square shape on the body, and geometrically embroidered designs of various shades of blue on a simple white base, worn with flat, strappy sandals. Another one of the most beautiful pieces includes oversized, high waisted pants, having a gauchos-meets-sweatpants type of feel, with a red and black mid length jacket, having the feel of a thin motorcycle jacket with geometric patterning.

While all of the looks are extremely eccentric, the designers have out done themselves with a different type of look, creating a tradition Tunisian, but mixing various patterns and designs of a modern look, giving the 2015 Resort Collection a fun and interesting twist. Nothing is simple, and nothing is ordinary, yet still has the right amount of boldness to create a look like no other collection thus far.
