Blake Lively looked amazing at The Cannes Film Festival, lets be honest. The woman is always a dime, its true; she is consistently impeccably dressed at every red carpet event. The paparazzi photos of her show a smiling, clean, happy woman. Of course, her bling wedding ring doesn’t hurt at all; neither does her handsome husband, Ryan Reynolds.
In Cannes, Blake Lively brought out all the stops, and all the couture. This leggy blonde first stepped out in a deep wine Gucci Première dress, then a delicate white Chanel to balance out her previous gown. The last of the three was a crisp Giambattista Valli couture dress that showed off her Lorraine Schwartz diamond in its full glory. No pockets involved, unlike with the Chanel, so she couldn’t hide that jewelry.
The rest of Cannes fashion was all leg and unstructured gowns to complement the warm, yacht-friendly air. Celebrities felt free to embrace the side slit, and plenty of floral detail. Elie Saab proved to be one of the winning designers, with Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Liu Wen, Eva Herzigova, and Jessica Chastain all looking gorgeous in long, flowing, wind-friendly gowns.
