Beyoncé’s stance as a feminist was only reinforced as the pop star uploaded a picture of her dressed as Rosie the Riveter on her Instagram.
Beyoncé looks just like Rosie did in the famous WWII poster. She’s flexing her muscles, wears a red bandana and denim shirt. In the background of the picture, there is a sign that states the famous slogan, “We Can Do It!”
Beyoncé s not only a world-renown pop star, she’s also a feminist. If you haven’t known that before, check out her song “***Flawless” as she used a part of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s TedTalk where the writer states the definition of what it means to be a feminist.
Her single, “Who Runs the World (Girls),” is also a song about female empowerment. Check out the Instagram photo, do you think she looks like a great Rosie the Riveter?
