It seems that lately the Knowles family is unable to avoid drama. First the infamous elevator beating Solange forced her famous brother-in-law to endure, and now Matthew Knowles, a.k.a Papa Knowles, is dealing with his second paternity suit. Which isn’t even the worst part to fans, the alleged baby mama is younger than his daughter, Beyonce.
As confirmed by TMZ, TaQoya Branscomb, former lingerie model, filed legal documents in Texas claiming Knowles got her pregnant in 2010. This was the same year Tina Knowles filed for divorce, because she had found out Matthew was cheating on her with another woman, whom he also impregnated.
Now, thirty-year-old Branscomb is no longer a lingerie model, but working as a real estate agent.
According to Buzzfeed, Branscomb is asking for a DNA test to determine the father of the child. If it turns out Knowles is indeed the father, she is asking for child support.
In 2010, Knowles confessed to having fathered a baby with Alexsandra Wright, and was ordered by the court to pay $12,000 per month for child support. However, this was when he was still serving as Beyonce’s manager. Now, since he no longer holds that position, his monthly payments have been lowered to $2,485. Since he has over payed, his next payment is not due for another two years.
However, since the decline in child support, Wright has claimed that her and her son have moved into an L.A homeless shelter. She does not blame Beyonce, stating that “it is not her problem.” She has said that no one in the Knowles family has offered to help her and her child.
“Nixon deserves to know his family, and I hope one day he will meet his sister Beyonce,” Wright told InTouch WeeklyMagazine.
For now, all fans can do is wait to see the results of the test, and hope that Mr. Knowles will give the child the care he or she deserves, should it turn out to be his.
