Blowpro, the leaders in the art of hair blow drying, have announced the news that they have been purchased by a new, privately held company. While carefully opting to not discuss the actual amount of the private sale, the buyer was named Basim Shami, CEO of Farouk Systems, Inc. – a company who is known for reputable brands like Biosilk and CHI.
Shami’s purchase of blowpro is part of his new project – a stand alone company, that is not apart of Farouk Systems, Inc., which he’s calling Beauty Elite Group. Working with Business Development Ambassador Kevin O’Conner, blowpro is the first of many brands who will be united to give a totally new approach on beauty. Shami has appointed his nephew and former director of Beauty Elite Group, Basel Badran, as the General Manager of blowpro.
A third generation of hair professionals continuing in Farouk Systems, Inc., Badran is enthusiastic about this new beauty revolution embodied by the new company, stating that “blowpro is a unique brand with a strong identity – it has unlimited potential. I look forward to working with the brand’s exceptional partners to continue to grow and expand the business.”
The “blow out expects” are not anticipating any change in their standing with consumers. Still devoted to helping them create and maintain the perfect blow out, blowpro is determined to keep its good reputation and prestige, giving their consumers quality products, even under the supervision of a new industry and company.
