Bran Stark is Back on ‘Game of Thrones’

Fans of Game of Thrones no doubt noticed that there was someone missing this past season, but no fear, Bran Stark will definitely be in season 6. While everyone’s favorite warg will be returning, there’s not a lot of hope for his big half brother, Jon Snow.

The young actor who plays Bran, Isaac Hempstead Wright, told the Irish Examiner first about his return to the hit HBO series.

“I can’t say a lot but I am back this season, and it’s going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions.” Wright said.

The 16-year-old has had starring roles in films such as The Boxtrolls, The Awakening and Closed Circuit.

Fans may be surprised to see just how much he’s grown up since his last scene on GoT. One thing is for certain, his traveling buddy Hodor, played by Kristin Nairn, will most likely be with the young Stark.

Surprisingly, Wright has not seen season 5 of the show yet because of schooling. However, the finale has already been spoiled for him, as fans of the show won’t stop asking him if Jon Snow is really dead. Wright, like most of us, wishes that his on screen big bro survives.

“I wish he would because I love Kit and because the character’s so cool. Who knows? We start filming series six at the end of this month [July] so we’ll see,” Wright said.
