The weather on Tuesday was as unpredictable as ever. The day began bright and sunny but slowly turned dull and gloomy. However, the most inconvenient part of the day was the storm that was blowing in by late afternoon.
Many states on the East-coast like Connecticut, New Jersey and New York felt the effects of the storm. Even though some regions were lucky enough to have mild effects, others were not.
Luckily, there haven’t been many reports of casualties within these regions. But there was considerable damage nevertheless. One of the places with considerable damage was at the Deptford mall in New Jersey.
During the storm, debris from the building started to come loose. Chunks of wood and concrete were tossed about, causing damage to the cars parked at the mall. Many windows of the cars were left cracked, and one of the cars apparently flipped over.
Fortunately, there were no casualties from this incident. Deptford mall will remain closed for a day in order to secure and repair the damaged areas. The mall in Gloucester County will be open for business around 10am on the 24th of June.
