As you’ve probably read, popular brand name label Coach Inc. has taken lengths to undergo price increases. However, in addition to this, Coach has also decided to change Ad agencies, from Laird + Partners, to Baron & Baron. Coach confirmed the changes, but, along with their previous agency, has declined to comment on anything else. This change was a result of a new chief executive director, Stuart Vevers. It is estimated that a campaign may cost anywhere from $500,000 to $1 million, which would give an approximate 10% investment returned to the agency. While Laird had taken care of Coach’s last three campaigns, the outcome is not as devastating as one would initially presume. Laird lost between $50,000 to $100,000 on their Fall campaign, leading to Coach’s break off last year. Luckily for Laird, this is not a completely loss, and they still have other clients on their team, such as Gap, Target, and the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
