Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are allegedly not going to divorce for financial reasons. The two famous celebrities could stand to lose a good portion of their wealth in lawyer fees and settlements.

Chris Pratt starred in Jurassic World and Anna Faris makes over $100,000 for her role in each episode of Mom. As per a source, “It’s been very intense, with Anna discussing how she feels isolated with Chris gone so much of the time and her career taking a backseat. Chris gets frustrated because Anna is in the industry, too, and knew the commitments involved when she married him.”

The source continued, “Right now they’re trying to be as amicable as possible. Then it’ll be a sweaty day of meditation to figure out what’s best for their assets as well as child custody.” The source went on to add, “Therapy is something Anna insisted on, because she’s having such a hard time understanding how cold Chris has been about it all.”

The couple have shared custody of their son Jack since the split, which was announced in August. Chris Pratt was seen with the little boy enjoying an ice cream treat, and Anna Faris was seen with him at a fair enjoying the day out. Allison Janney, who stars on Mom with Anna Faris, said, “Anna’s a very courageous and strong girl and very professional and love her so much, as do everyone.” She went on to add, “And we love Chris too. We love them both. It’s sad when, you know, people who have to go separate ways.”

The two announced their separation through a joint statement on Chris Pratt’s social media. The statement read, “Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating.” It continued, “We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together, and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”

Anna Faris offered advice to an individual who called into her podcast a few days later. She said, “Hey, dear listeners. I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I’ve been receiving, and I truly love you.” She went on to respond to someone who had called in and stated, “Life is too short to be in relationships where you feel this isn’t fully right or somebody doesn’t have your back, or somebody doesn’t fully value you.”

She continued, “Don’t be afraid to feel your independence if things aren’t right.” Anna Faris implied that there were difficulties in her marriage and said, “I made that mistake, I think, a little bit, like ‘I’m checking my relationship off the list’ and if that would be the final piece of advice I could give you, that would be know your worth, know your independence.”

The former couple are allegedly in marriage counseling together. A source close to the couple stated, “It’s the first time they’ve ever been in counseling together and it only happened after they split.” The insider continued, “They have committed to it. They are trying to keep the pressure low by doing it out of the spotlight, but there is still a lot of love between them.”

Another source stated, “They are going through couples counseling now, which is what you do when you want to divorce and there are children involved.” They added, “It won’t likely change the status of the relationship, but it could help with their future co-parenting.”
