Ciara and Russel Wilson’s Fairytale Wedding Style

Everyone loves a fairy-tale wedding, so it’s no surprise that when singer Ciara tied the knot with football star Russell Wilson last Wednesday, everything was fit for royalty. The couple were married at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England. Not only was the setting beautiful, the fashion was as well. Ciara’s bridesmaids wore custom black silk satin stretch gowns, each with a unique silhouette to complement every individual lady’s style. The dresses were designed by Michael Costello, who used the dress he designed for Ciara for the Billboard 2016 Music Awards as inspiration for the looks. Costello also designed black French lace chokers for each of the eight bridesmaids, adding a cohesive element to the group.

The bride’s favorite men both wore Armani, with groom Russell Wilson in a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure tuxedo, and Ciara’s son, Future Wilburn Jr., in a custom Armani Junior Tuxedo.

As for the bride herself, Ciara’s gown was made by Peter Dundas for Roberto Cavalli Couture. The gown was designed custom for the singer and featured a deep sweetheart neckline, corset bodice, sheer bell sleeves, and a full skirt. The gown was made using silk tulle, Chantilly lace appliqué, and glass beading. The designer’s sketch of the gown reveals that CWR, standing for Ciara and Russel Wilson, was monogrammed on the back of the skirt. With the gown, Ciara wore a cathedral length veil over her hair, which was kept down in loose waves. Her makeup was kept neutral and light, emphasizing her natural beauty. It seems like the day was a storybook ending for the happy couple.
