Cindy Crawford Finally Launching Her Denim Collection Including Jeans

With Re/Done’s collaboration, Cindy Crawford now launches her “model off-duty” wardrobe including jeans. Crawford is a denim icon as she demonstrates all- American style to people, which garners tons of applause and advocacy. This time, she finally realizes the dream of designing leisure-nature brand.

Crawford was one of the original five supermodels, during 1980s and 1990s, she was so popular that appeared frequently in different fashion campaigns and runways. But in 2000 she gave up full-time modeling and showed occasionally in some magazine covers. Since then, she participated into fashion-associated fields including beauty and clothing production. In 2005, she co-partnered with Jean-Louis Sebagh to create a beauty-product line called Meaningful Beauty for Guthy-Renker. In the same year, she released a furniture line called “Cindy Crawford Home Collection” produced by HM Richards Inc, in which she gave advice to improve whole products’ design including color, pattern and style. She boosted her business continuously without any slack, now her brand-new line is highly-anticipated among the public.

Her partner Re-Done is an industry-favorite brand which manufactures classic American-taste garment, it says on the official website that “Our RE/DONE jeans are a celebration of the Levi’s jean’s past and a continuation of the jean’s individual story. We take the vintage denim apart at the seams, repurposing it as the fabric of our new jeans. We launched with one mid-rise modern skinny fit, and one irreverent, perfectly slouchy, borrowed-from-the-boys relaxed fit and have since added a perfect belly-button skimming high-rise cut.” Its cooperated clothing with Crawford will disclose in September, and the collection primarily features jeans, tees, and graphic sweatshirts. Short-sleeved T-shirts are expected to sell $125 while jeans will be $250.

Crawford said to Vogue, “My daughter is obsessed with [them], and I didn’t really have any of their jeans because I felt like I was there the first time around,” she continued, “When I started following Re/Done on Instagram, I posted a picture of me in old Levi’s from back in the ‘90s with a caption like, ‘I was doing Re/Done before Re/Done.'”

On August 24, she stated her collaboration on Instagram, and 20 pieces were sold out within a few hours to celebrate the big news. As official launch will come soon, her brand online orders currently have a wait list, as if people cannot wait to buy it.
