Blair Eadie, of the NYC-based fashion blog Atlantic-Pacific, is breaking all of the style rules. From head-to-toe stripes, to tutus for daytime (a la fictitious New Yorker, but very real style icon, Carrie Bradshaw), Eadie is showing her 550,000 Instagram followers a thing or two about bending all of the sartorial rules. Living in New York City, Eadie’s style is both feminine and fun, while still keeping an urban, laidback flair. She also knows the priceless value of a good accessory, whether it’s a pom-pom adorned beanie or a Chanel 2.55.

“My style growing up was totally experimental in the worst way possible. It took a long time to find my true style identity. There are way too many ‘what was I thinking’ moments to name…[But] working in the fashion/retail industry I saw how influential street style and fashion blogging were becoming. I wanted to become part of the growing culture and really use my blog to show my passion for the field I work in. I purposefully did not write copy or ever morph it into lifestyle in any way, as I want it to serve as my own personal style portfolio,” Eadie says in an interview with The Coveteur.

Eadie is known for her unexpected (unexpectedly awesome) pops of color that she brings to her everyday looks. From pink satin trousers paired with a chambray shirt, to an ultra-bright red midi skirt worn with a classic striped crop top, Eadie may love her monochromatic looks, but she also enjoys a generous pop of color every now and then. Hopefully Eadie’s style will remind us all to bring some color to our wardrobes—in more ways than one.
