Instead of immediately braiding your hair right after you get out, wait for it to air dry for a little while. Once your lovely locks are half dry, throw your hair back into one, tight French braid. Be sure to braid all the way down to tips so you don’t have that awkward straight inch of hair the next morning. Once you get up the next day, carefully unbraid your hair and shake it out a little. Apply some mouse and Aussie flexible hairspray to keep it from puffing, and your ready to go; instant wave and volume produced overnight.

If you want a more classic curl, but know the curling iron hates your hair, then it may be time to start using your straightener. Practice makes perfect with this technique however, so try looking up a YouTube tutorial about how to do it.
