Rivers on “Late Show with David Letterman”

While it was only a joke, Letterman was teasing Rivers of her walking out of a CNN interview with Fredericka Whitfield Saturday, July 5. Letterman asked if her leaving the interview was a publicity stunt to promote her book, but the comedian denied and seemed rather serious. Rivers described how she felt she was being judged during the CNN interview, which was why she walked out.
