With winter break nearly at its end, or, in some cases, already over, students are returning to college and to dormitories that could use a bit of cheering up. Although half the school year is over, there’s still another half to go, and here are some ways to brighten up your room.
1) Christmas Lights
Although the time for Christmas is over, hanging some white lights around the ceiling can help to add a soft, gentle glow to your room. Some dormitories are poorly lit to begin with, while others have harsh, florescent lighting. Either way, Christmas lights are a nice alternative to add a bit of sparkle. Plus, many times they’re on sale this time of year.
