Greek Yogurt, or any yogurt for that matter, is an ideal conditioner for hair that is brittle, dry, or dull, and needs shine and moisture. Providing a protein treatment therapy for your skin, this will give you vibrant, healthier looking hair, without having to spend big bucks on salon therapies and treatments. You can do this simple hair mask before or after shampooing. A good trick is to co-wash your hair with both the yogurt and shampoo. However, keep in mind that this is still a process, and takes longer than a few minutes of letting it sit in your hair.
Here’s what you have to do: Part your hair into 5-6 sections. Using only about a table spoon per section, apply the yogurt to each section until your hair is completely covered in yogurt. Don’t forget to reach drier spots and scalp! Then place a shower cap over your head and let the yogurt sit and soak in your head for about 30 minutes to an hour. Finally, wash the yogurt out with cool or lukewarm water. That’s it! Now flaunt your shiny, bouncy, moisturized hair!
