Christian Louboutin is now broadening his horizons, as he takes on his first designer boutique in San Francisco. The French designer will be opening his new store on 29 Maiden Lane, and will be influenced by the same architectural structure of the Union Square area. Luckily for the boutique, it will be surrounded by the bustle of other high end brands, including Prada, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Tory Burch, whose consumers will surely pour into lines at the new boutique.
Excited to open his first store, in such a stylish location, Louboutin says “I like towns where people take the time to walk in the street, and San Francisco is a beautiful city with beautiful architecture. I was conquered by this location.” He certainly was – with cobblestone streets and beautiful surrounding architecture, the boutique itself with have 1,650 square feet of steel, stone and glass incorporated into it’s layout, along with luxurious raised ceilings, and enough space to include both men’s and women’s lounges! Along with this location, which will be the label’s sixth store on West Cost, there will also be openings in Atlanta and Bombay, India. Keep tuned.
