Diane Von Furstenberg explores the world of costume jewelry.
Furstenberg is teaming back up with Haskwell Jewelry, the high-end retailer known for its elegant designs. This is not the first time the two have worked together.
According to Fashion Times, “CEO Frank Fialkoff oversaw von Furstenberg’s jewelry license for all major department stores.”
Fans of the designer should not fear, she still intends to keep up with her fine jewelry line, the costume jewelry will be in addition to her other lines. “They want to have the $300 necklace,” said Furstenberg.
Fialkoff explained to WWD that Furstenberg had a say in every piece in the line, and that’s what is going to make it so successful.
Furstenburg told WWD about her thoughts on jewelry, “I really love jewelry that makes noise and makes a statement. I also like fluidity jewelry. It’s all treated like fabric.”
The amount of thought put into this new line only makes having to wait until February 2015 to get our hands on this line even harder.
Not much else has been released about the line, as there is still 6 months until its alleged release.
The jewelry will be available in DVF stores, as well as through other select retailers, although the retailers have yet to be specified.
